Working lunch. My today’s baon: Home-made healthy chicken sandwich courtesy of my mom, plus a cup of iced tea. #ProductiveSaturday Bring it on!! #BerMoments
Since work is suspended let me just put these random thoughts of mine into words..
Who would’ve forget MARIO? He played a huge role in every childhood’s memory. I used to loved Mario (and the mushrooms, of course) since I was 5? or 7? I don’t know. It’s been a long time. But now? I’m quite unsure. All because of this freaking-typhoon who just suddenly came up and was named after him! Hahaha! Chos. (ang babaw lang!) No, but seriously today was kinda traumatic (again) not just for me (actually, not really for me) but to my other kababayans who (as of the moment) are still experiencing this awful disaster. Heard a lot from today’s news: homeless, strong winds, heavy rain, floods all over, stranded people everywhere. Truly, devastating and heart breaking. I may not personally know them but ka-babayans are still ka-babayans.
More than that, I am also saddened by the fact that while many of our kababayans are suffering and being devastated by this natural disaster, others are busy ranting and complaining about their so-called “kamalasan”, such as having a slow-internet connection, low batteries, no cable signal, blah.. blah.. etc.
Can you just please get over yourself and start thinking about other people! Instead of wasting your time complaining, talking, and posting about negative things, why not pray and you know just thank God for keeping you and your family alive and safe. Just imagine how blessed you are for not being put in that same kind of situation. Being under a roof with your family is a sign of security from God. You should be grateful for that! We all should. And oh, try to pray for others too! Believe me, that’s a million times better! :)

Many people ask how will we get through all of this again? Well I guess, the picture says it all! Filipinos are Filipinos! We are survivors. (all thanks to God’s amazing grace!) We are born not just to live but to survive with a happy heart and a smiling face. So keep yo’ heads up! Keep the faith! In sunshine or rain, Jesus got your back!
Proud to be a Filipino! Always & forever. ♥
P.S Please don’t judge. Ain’t really a blogger, just a frustrated writer. Haha! Nevertheless, I hope it’s worth the read! xx
One happy bookworm. Got these two books for only 99.00 pesos!! :) #BookExhibit #BookCollection2014

Happy Happy Birthday to my super twin, my all-around buddy, my one & only.. BESH. I am beyond grateful to God for putting some noemi in my life. Y? ‘coz you’re the peanut to my chocnut. :) Believe me, life wouldn’t be this fun & amazing without you being part of it. You know I’ll always be here for you no matter what. (Ang dami na kaya nating napagdaanan. Hahaha!) Through ups and downs, thick and thin, hot and cold, count me in! Haha. (Maipilit lang yung rhyme) I love you more than words. Happy anniversary din pala to us!!! Yiee. 6 years and counting. I believe friendship will only last forever if God is the ultimate foundation. So pano, let’s keep it up? We still have eternity to go!! ❤ Loveyou! *virtual hug* :) 091014 #Ten
